Once installed and activated the Protector+ needs no further involvement from the user. The incorporated movement sensor will detect any unauthorised movement of the vehicle.

If the vehicle is moved illegally or the battery disconnected a signal is sent to SmarTrack, who then confirm with the owner that the vehicle has been moved illegally. SmarTrack will then track the vehicle while you get a crime number from the local police. Once they have the crime number, SmarTrack will guide the police to the location of the vehicle.  Even if the vehicle is taken inside where the GPS tracking cannot see it, the SmarTrack control centre remembers the last known position, which is updated every 60 seconds.

The Alert24 works in much the same way as the Protector+, however if your battery voltage runs low it sends you a text allerting you to the situation. Plus, if you have an alarm system fitted to your vehicle, it can be attached to the Alert24 which in the event of the alarm activating will alert SmarTrack control who will notify you and begin tracking.
